The "Pride of the Prairie Orchestra" is a volunteer orchestra based in Colby, Kansas containing members from Northwest Kansas and Northeast Colorado. It was originally founded in 1979 and named "The Colby Community Orchestra" and then was renamed in 1998. The orchestra provides a musical outlet for both adults and students who play stringed instruments, as there are limited orchestra programs in the surrounding area's schools.  Connect with us to stay updated on our upcoming performances and events.
